I’ve been sick again and again this month and my commissions have come to a small halt. I’m trying to get back on top of things.
Anyway, this is a small sketch of some… dress my character, Ixshli, wore when she nicely “borrowed” it and crashed a rich people party.

[Mostly] Free Stock Images! [UPDATED]

karlika:

In the light of this situation, I figured I’d share my handy-dandy list of (mostly) free stock images, both vector and raster. Here’s a more comprehensive list as well, but these are the ones I checked out and are mostly satisfied with.

RASTER/NON-VECTOR IMAGES:

  •  FreerangeStock Free registration, all images can be used both commercially and commercially. Their selection is great and has fast become my personal go-to for stock!
  • rgbstock is free for personal and commercial uses. Great Selection and I use it often. Account Needed.
  • stock.xchg is my personal go-to, I actually used it often for school. You do have to make an account, however, so long as you follow the Image Release Agreementyou can use the images for commercial or personal use.
  • Image*After allows both personal and commercial uses of its images, and have a decent selection of images for texture. No account needed.
  • Photos-Public-Domain is my go-to for textures. All of it is public domain, meaning it’s free for both commercial and personal use.
  • PublicDomainPictures another public domain site with a substantial amount of images. No account needed.
  • Public-Domain-Image Public Domain images, No account needed.
  • Public-Domain-Photos Public Domain images, No account needed.
  • MorgueFile Account needed, most images can be used for noncommercial uses, but you can contact the owner for commercial uses.
  • StockVault Account needed, somewhat free for commercial and personal use, has a ‘pay as you go’ way with some images.
  • FreePixels Free for personal and commercial use. No account needed.
  • PixelPerfectDigital Creative Commons Attribution License.Says for personal and commercial use, just makes sure to look at the license before using. No account needed.
  • FreePhotosBank Free for personal and commercial use.  No account needed.

VECTOR IMAGES:

  • VectorPortal is free for personal and commercial use, with attribution, so please look at their FAQ. This site has a lot to work with, and even has style guidelines for brands as well!  No account needed.
  • Vecteezy Is a Creative Commons based site. You need to make an account, and be mindful of each work’s licence.  No account needed.
  • CoolVectors Vector packs, silhouettes, elements. The ToS is kinda hazy, but I would look at each vector’s artists comments for terms of use to be clear.  No account needed.
  • AllSilhouettes Silhouettes for personal and commercial use.  No account needed.
  • QVectors An account is needed, but free for personal and commercial use.
  • Vectorish Mostly free for personal and commercial use, please look at each vector’s license on its page before downloading. No account needed.
  • VectorOpenStock is Creative Commons- Attribution based, so please look at the license for use. An account is needed.
  • BrandsOfTheWorld is more for personal use— I put this one up mainly for any fellow designers/design students who need the logo for personal/class re-branding project. It’s corporate/brand logos. No account needed.
  • Freevector.comProvides free vectors— but are of questionable licence— please read the comments/read me files to be sure.
  • Freevectors.net Provides free vectors as well but are of questionable licence— please read the comments/read me files to be sure.
  • 123 Vectors  is also mixed licence— please look carefully.
  • all-free-downloads is very questionable— I would suggest using it for personal/educational use only, but I would read because there MIGHT be some commercial stuff there.

CLIPART:

  • Clker is a public domain clip art site. No account needed.
  • Allfree-clipart free for personal and commercial use (as far as I can tell)  No account needed.
  • OpenClipArt free for personal and commercial use. No account needed.

I added a few more sites. Enjoy!

Our time has come.

"For three-hundred years. We prepared. We grew stronger. While you rested in your cradle of power. Believing your people were safe and protected. You were trusted to lead the Republic, but you were deceived. As our powers of the Dark Side have blinded you. You assumed no force could challenge you. And now, finally, we have returned."

"You were DECEIVED.”

And now your Republic shall FALL.

"O-ho! What a thought! But let’s enjoy this thoroughly first."

I think it’s time I reblog this after 3 months because REASONS

I  found a goddam shovel on (pub) Balmorra and if you spam the keybinding on the shovel, it loops forever.

I don’t really think I’m that good at anatomy (or females) but this is quite a popular request so… I’m making a tutorial, and this is the part to show you what NOT to do with your fellow humans. More coming… eventually.

I suck at breast variations, but I try; see this page for awesome references: x

“Ultimately, the state of Coruscant is the state of the Republic—impressive and imperfect at the same time. Like the Republic as well, though, the strength of Coruscant lies not in its structures and systems, but in its people.”
